Base pay range

Biology Teacher – Birmingham

Start Date: ASAP

Day Rate: £150 – £170 per day

We’re working with a high-performing secondary school in Birmingham that is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Biology Teacher to join their Science department on a supply basis. This is a great opportunity to teach motivated students in a well-resourced and supportive environment, with the potential to secure a longer-term contract from September.

Role Responsibilities

• Teach Biology across KS3 and KS4
• Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons
• Assess student progress and contribute to departmental targets
• Maintain a positive and focused classroom environment
• Uphold the school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies
  
  

Candidate Requirements

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Biology at KS3 and KS4
• A strong subject knowledge and clear communication style
• A positive, flexible, and proactive approach
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
