A leading environmental services company is seeking an individual for a field-based role focused on ecological assessments and water quality. Key responsibilities include macroinvertebrate sampling, data recording, and collaboration with team members. This field-based role covers the Severn Trent region and involves macroinvertebrate sampling using kick-net techniques, water quality assessments, and identifying species to family level for RIVPACS analysis. You’ll also support wider team activities such as zooplankton analysis, algal and wastewater monitoring, and contribute to high-quality reporting for ecological assessments and compliance.

To be successful in this role you will have great report writing and data analysis skills with a keen eye for detail. You will also ideally have degree in Biology, Environmental Science, Ecology, or a related field.
