Ankar AI in London is seeking a patent professional with deep large-molecule life sciences expertise to bridge product development, engineering and IP protection. You’ll work hands-on with pharmaceutical and biotech customers to design AI-powered patent solutions that understand biologics conventions and drafting requirements.

You’ll build life sciences‑specific patent products, embed with customers, and shape product development with biologics expertise while driving success across portfolios.

Qualifikationen

• Two years of large-molecule patent experience in biotech/pharma or related field.
• Strong foundation in molecular biology, biochemistry or immunology.
• Experience drafting claims for antibodies, proteins, nucleic acids or other biologics.
• Ability to translate complex biologics problems into product requirements and AI tooling concepts.
• Willingness to work in a high-autonomy, fast-moving environment and deliver results.

Aufgaben

• Develop AI tools for large-molecule patents, including sequence analysis and prior-art searching.
• Collaborate with in-house patent counsel and prosecution teams to prototype and deploy proofs of concept.
• Translate biologics patent challenges into clear product requirements for our platform.
• Lead technical sessions with patent professionals to demonstrate value across portfolios.
• Identify opportunities across antibodies, vaccines, and cell/gene therapies.
