Biological Safety Advisor

Could you be the Biological Safety Advisor we're seeking to help drive a proactive and positive safety culture across a pioneering research facility?

Do you have the expertise to support an elite operational safety team at the forefront of pharmaceutical innovation?

The successful candidate will join a well-established team of technical professionals operating across various specialisms.

Responsibilities for the Biological Safety Advisor will include:

  • Implementing health and safety policies and procedures and ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.
  • Overseeing the safe handling of biological materials and advising on safety improvements.
  • Ensuring compliance with biological risk management.
  • Providing health and safety support across the organisation, particularly within research departments.

The successful Biological Safety Advisor will have:

  • Proven experience in a similar biological safety role, ideally within scientific research, universities, containment facilities, or similar environments.
  • An undergraduate degree and/or NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience influencing and engaging stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
