Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead characterisation work packages for early-phase biologics projects, ensuring alignment with regulatory and scientific expectations.
- Design and oversee studies related to protein structure, function, and degradation using advanced analytical techniques (e.g., mass spectrometry, AUC, higher-order structural methods).
- Drive critical quality attribute (CQA) assessments and contribute to control strategy development.
- Author and review scientific protocols, reports, and risk assessments.
- Manage documentation, resource planning, and data presentation at cross-functional project meetings.
- Collaborate with internal teams across formulation, analytical development, upstream/downstream processing, regulatory, and QA.
- Engage with global colleagues and external partners, including academic institutions and contract labs.
Essential Qualifications
- Strong scientific background in protein chemistry and biologics characterisation.
- Proven experience in project leadership within a scientific or technical environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Desirable Skills
- Hands-on experience with mass spectrometry or NMR.
- Background in antibody development or analysis.
- Familiarity with early-phase regulatory requirements and IND preparation.
