Timely Recruit Ltd seeks a Biodiversity Technical Director in London. The role is hybrid (3 days in the office) and focuses on owning the technical quality of biodiversity work, growing the portfolio, and building the team.

Qualifications

• Experience applying international biodiversity standards (IFC PS6, World Bank ESS6, etc.).
• Hands-on habitat assessment and mitigation experience.
• Strong track record in leading multi-disciplinary teams and proposals.

Responsibilities

• Act as senior technical authority on biodiversity and quality assurance.
• Lead complex biodiversity assessments and planning (HCPs, offset strategies).
• Serve as principal contact for lenders, developers and DFIs.
• Lead and win proposals, bids and client pitches.
• Coach and develop the biodiversity team, manage budgets and risk.
• Travel internationally for site visits (approx. 1 week).
