Job summary

Forestry England, Central England Forest District, is seeking a Biodiversity Works Supervisor on a fixed-term appointment until March 2029. The role supports the Biodiversity Plan, working 37 hours per week for a salary of £31,159 per annum, with travel across England.

Based in any Forestry England office within Central England Forest District (Sherwood Pines, Market Rasen or Fineshade) with hybrid home working available. A full driving licence and willingness to travel are required.

Responsibilities

• Implementation of Nature Networks at landscape-scale, such as habitat corridors and riparian zones.
• Uplifting the condition of Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSIs) and other designated sites.
