Qualifications

• IBMS approved Biomedical Science degree or HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist.
• HCPC registration is essential; IBMS accredited degree acceptable before full registration.
• Experience with analytical laboratories and 24/7 service readiness.

Responsabilités

• Undertake laboratory investigations appropriate to banding and competencies.
• Prepare specimens for analysis (blood, urine, fluid, faeces).
• Participate in quality activities and attend departmental meetings regularly.
• Train staff across grades and comply with national standards (UKAS, MHRA).
• Handle routine and complex testing with supervision as needed and maintain records.
