We have an exciting opportunity for a Head Biomedical Scientist to join our Blood Sciences department at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. The postholder will lead a team working at Stoke Mandeville Hospital and Wycombe Hospital.
Main duties of the job
Buckinghamshire Healthcare Trust is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Head Biomedical Scientist to join our Blood Sciences team.
The Head BMS in Blood Sciences will take the management lead in all clinical work-related issues and be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Blood Sciences department, which includes Biochemistry & Immunology and Haematology & Blood Transfusion laboratories.
The post holder will be responsible for maintaining and developing a high-quality service and will be supported to display personal initiative. They will lead a team of senior staff to deliver an efficient medical laboratory service focused on patient care and resource management within the hospital.
