Kedrion Biopharma UK is seeking a Bioanalytical Scientist for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Elstree, Hertfordshire. The role focuses on optimising products and developing plasma-derived therapies, offering hands-on laboratory experience and cross-department collaboration.

You will perform a range of analytical methods, maintain thorough records, and contribute to R&D activities within a global biopharma environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Life Science or related field with practical lab training.
• Evidence of practical laboratory training and report writing.
• Experience with microplate-based analytical techniques.
• Knowledge of protein characterization techniques.
• Awareness of health and safety in a lab environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs and study plans.
• Execute analytical methods (SDS-PAGE, Western Blot, ELISA).
• Maintain accurate lab records and data.
• Buffer preparation and record keeping.
• Analyze and interpret experimental data.
• Troubleshoot procedures and address issues.
• Collaborate with industry experts and other departments.
• Gain exposure to Kedrion's global operations.
