Job summary

Quotient Sciences Limited in Alnwick is looking for a Bioanalyst for their Bioanalytical Services team. This is an onsite role focusing on bioanalysis for preclinical and clinical studies, requiring strong scientific skills and experience in mass spectrometry.

Qualifications

• BSc (Hons) in a relevant scientific discipline, or equivalent laboratory experience.
• Previous experience working with mass spectrometry (ICP‑MS or LC‑MS).
• Experience within a pharmaceutical, CRO, or regulated laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyse samples from preclinical and clinical studies using ICP‑MS and LC‑MS.
• Perform ICP‑MS and LC‑MS bioanalytical assay validations.
• Implement methodologies new to the team to support investigative studies.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Skills

Ability to critically assess and interpret scientific data

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Self‑motivated and adaptable

High level of personal integrity

Previous experience with mass spectrometry

Experience in a pharmaceutical or regulated environment

Education
