This role is office-based, 5 days a week, in Bishopsgate.

Your new role:

This role is a key part of the Technical Operations Team, responsible for managing and completing risk capture and endorsement processing, ensuring accurate data recording in a timely manner.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing binding/slip processing, maintaining data accuracy within the underwriting system from slips for inwards business.
• Building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Reviewing and improving existing processes to create efficiencies.
• Attending monthly Underwriting and Marketing Conference Call (UMCC) meetings.
• Managing endorsement processing, ensuring data accuracy from endorsements.

Outsourced management:

• Ensuring SOPs are reviewed and updated quarterly.
• Defining and meeting SLAs and KPIs with outsourced providers.

Earnings:

• Liaising with the Actuarial team to ensure updated earning patterns in the system.

Data quality:

• Maintaining and owning data accuracy within Prequel.
• Training teams across Lines of Business.
• Meeting data quality targets and correcting errors promptly.
• Working with Data Quality and outsourced teams to improve data integrity.

Performance monitoring & reporting:

• Ensuring team understands month-end procedures and deadlines.
• Managing workload and ensuring SLA compliance.
• Supporting audits and implementing action points.
• Producing reports for management and board.
• Maintaining binding documentation and participating in projects.

Minimum qualifications, skills & experience:

• At least 10 years in the Insurance industry.
• Operations/Management experience, including managing outsourced providers.
• Understanding of Underwriting and Policy Administration systems.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Adobe Standard, Outlook, and Excel.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and report presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams, managing deadlines effectively.
