Acorn Web Offset Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a binder operator to cover holidays and meet production demands. You will work 39 hours per week on rotating 12-hour shifts, with a paid 30-minute break, and a pattern of 3 on/3 off for three weeks followed by 4 on/1 off.

A minimum of two weeks’ notice will be given for shift requirements. The role involves setting up and operating binder machinery, ensuring quality, and performing basic maintenance.

Formación

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Excellent timekeeping and attendance are essential.
• Organised and self-motivated with a can-do attitude.

Responsabilidades

• Set up, adjust and operate binder machinery.
• Run to specifications of Job bag and keep to schedule.
• Ensure quality of finished product.
• Maintain regular maintenance of the machine.
• Troubleshoot mechanical or quality issues and liaise with Operations Manager.
• Conduct quality checks, including trimming, spine alignment, and page counts.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness, lubrication and basic preventative maintenance.
• Follow all safety standards and company policies.
