Job summary

Balfour Beatty is recruiting an experienced BIM Technician for the Anglian Water’s one Alliance, based in Peterborough with hybrid working. You will develop intelligent 3D BIM models using Revit and Plant 3D to support water and wastewater projects across the Anglian Water region.

Working with engineers and designers, you’ll ensure models meet BIM standards, support clash detection with Navisworks, and contribute to digital innovation, safety and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience using Revit and Plant 3D to develop 3D models and drawings.
• Experience on water/wastewater infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Understanding of BIM standards and ISO 19650 is desirable.
• Experience with Navisworks for model coordination is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed 3D BIM models using Revit and Plant 3D.
• Produce pipework, ducting and infrastructure layouts for water projects.
• Collaborate with design teams to integrate technical information into BIM.
• Support BIM standards and data management procedures.
• Incorporate health, safety and buildability considerations into designs.
• Assist with model coordination and clash detection using Navisworks.
• Contribute to digital innovation across the alliance.
• Collaborate with engineers to meet programme objectives.
• Support adoption of new technologies to improve efficiency and sustainability.
