We are seeking a talented BIM Technician to support the delivery of a major aviation programme based in the Middle East. This role is ideally suited to someone with strong Revit capability, solid model coordination experience, and a passion for working on large, complex infrastructure projects.
Working alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, you will play a central role in shaping the delivery of airport terminal buildings and associated infrastructure. Key Responsibilities
- Take a leading role in BIM model coordination and development across all RIBA stages (0–7)
- Produce and manage high-quality Revit models, contributing to the development of detailed technical packages and design information
- Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants (structures, MEP, interiors, systems) to ensure accurate and efficient model integration
- Manage BIM documentation, including model outputs, drawings, schedules, reports, and specifications
- Support the production of planning applications, building control documentation, and digital construction deliverables
- Participate in internal model reviews and ensure compliance with project BIM requirements and client expectations
- Assist in the digital coordination and clash detection processes, identifying and resolving design issues
- Provide technical Revit support and guidance to project team members where needed
- Maintain project quality through adherence to BIM standards, internal systems, and ISO 19650 processes
- Support the preparation of bids and submissions through BIM visualisation and content production
Key Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Engineering, or a relevant construction discipline
- Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects – aviation or transport preferred
- Strong understanding of BIM processes and standards (e.g. ISO 19650, PAS 1192)
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, design-led environments with shifting project demands
- Excellent communication and coordination skills – able to work closely with both local and international stakeholders
- Confident managing Revit models and digital deliverables independently when required
- Willingness to relocate to the Middle East for the duration of the project (relocation support provided)
