Job summary

Hilti Great Britain is seeking a BIM Modeler to join our Engineering team in the UK. You will model Hilti support systems within customer BIM environments, turning engineering designs into accurate, buildable solutions for construction projects.

You'll collaborate with Design Engineers and Lead Engineers, using Revit and Navisworks to produce high-quality BIM models, perform clash detection, and support project estimates while adhering to Hilti’s standards and workflows.

Qualifications

  • Experience using Revit within BIM projects.
  • Experience with Navisworks and clash detection.
  • Understanding of building design and construction workflows.
  • Strong communication and ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Create and develop BIM models using Revit.
  • Review customer models and assess quality and completeness of information.
  • Support project estimates and modelling service quotations.
  • Collaborate with Lead Engineers to translate technical designs into accurate BIM models.
  • Perform clash detection and help resolve clashes within Hilti design solutions.
  • Conduct QA/QC checks to ensure model integrity and compliance with requirements.
  • Work within Common Data Environments such as BIM 360.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and record time spent.

At Hilti, we're looking for a BIM Modeler to join our growing Engineering team. In this role, you'll work with our engineering experts to model Hilti support systems within customer BIM environments, helping deliver high-quality engineering solutions across a wide range of construction projects.

What You'll Do

Working closely with Design Engineers and Lead Engineers, you'll transform engineering designs into high-quality BIM models and project deliverables.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
  • Creating and developing BIM models using Revit
  • Reviewing customer models and assessing the quality and completeness of available project information
  • Supporting project estimates and modelling service quotations
  • Collaborating with Lead Engineers to translate technical designs into accurate BIM models
  • Performing clash detection and helping resolve clashes within the scope of Hilti's design solutions
  • Conducting ongoing QA/QC checks to ensure model integrity and compliance with project requirements
  • Working collaboratively within Common Data Environments such as BIM 360
  • Supporting continuous improvement of modelling processes, standards and workflows
  • Maintaining accurate project documentation and recording project time effectively
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external project teams
What You’ll Bring

You’ll Ideally Have
  • Previous experience using Revit within BIM projects
  • Experience working with Navisworks
  • General knowledge in AutoCAD
  • A good understanding of building design and construction workflows
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work within multi-disciplinary teams
  • A proactive and solution-focused approach to problem solving
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards
Additional Experience That Would Be Advantageous Includes
  • A degree in Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline
  • Experience with additional software and platforms, including Dynamo, Solibri, Inventor
  • Knowledge/experience working with Plant design platforms such as SmartPlant 3D or PDMS
