Job summary

AJ Digital is seeking a proactive BIM Technician to join our London team. A strong background in Revit and experience modelling from point cloud data are essential for delivering accurate architectural and structural models.

You will create, modify and manage 3D models and documentation, collaborate with project teams, and explore new technologies to streamline workflows while maintaining up-to-date BIM standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Revit Technician or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Revit for 3D modelling and documentation.
• Experience modelling in different LOD/LOI across RIBA stages.
• Knowledge of Parametric Family Creation.
• Experience modelling from point cloud data.
• Knowledge of BIM standards and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently or remotely.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities

• Experience modelling in different LOD, LOI requirements through different RIBA stages

• Demonstrated experience modeling from point cloud data.
• Knowledge of BIM standards and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a remote or office-based environment.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Desirable:

• Familiarity with additional software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Navisworks).
• Experience in implementing technology-driven solutions to improve workflow efficiency.
• Process optimisation using software such as Dynamo / Python
• Point cloud registration using Cyclone Register
