BIM Technician / BIM Design Engineer / CAD Design Engineer required to join a world-leading HVAC Solutions provider.

This BIM Technician / BIM Design Engineer / CAD Design Engineer will be responsible for producing and managing engineering drawings from tender stage through to project completion, undertaking coordination review and document control on HVAC products including natural ventilation, mechanical smoke ventilation, AOV systems, fire and smoke dampers, smoke extraction fans.

The BIM Technician / BIM Design Engineer / CAD Design Engineer should possess either smoke control and/or M&E Building Services design background. Candidates need BIM-related software capability such as AutoCAD, Revit or Navisworks.

BIM Technician / BIM Design Engineer / CAD Design Engineer Role:

• Responsible for producing and managing engineering drawings from tender stage through to project completion on HVAC products including natural ventilation, mechanical smoke ventilation, AOV systems, fire and smoke dampers, smoke extraction fans
• Produce 3D models of HVAC ventilation systems for traditional, pre-fabricated and modularised solutions
• Lead design coordination meetings with contractors and designers
• Work closely with construction team to ensure coordinated delivery
• Able to travel to the office near Portsmouth

BIM Technician / BIM Design Engineer / CAD Design Engineer Requirements:

• Experience as a BIM Technician, BIM Design Engineer, CAD Design Engineer, CAD Engineer, BIM Engineer from a HVAC, ventilation, smoke control industry background
• BIM-related software proficiency preferably within AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks
• Awareness of document sharing platform and review/approval process
• Capable of resolving design conflicts
• Able to travel to the office near Portsmouth
