BIM/Revit Structural Technician (Progression to Senior / Associate)
£35,000 - £45,000 + Hybrid + Progression + Training + Company Benefits

Are you a BIM/Revit Technician or similar with a Structural background looking to progress within one of the premier structural consultancies in the UK? This consultancy prioritises the development of their staff, with a tight-knit culture, offering flexible working and the opportunity to progress into senior/associate roles.

On offer is the opportunity to join a well-established Engineering consultancy that has been in business for nearly 35 years. Their goal is to expand the team year on year while consistently growing their client base across industrial, commercial, and residential properties, looking after their Structural, Civil, SuDS/SAB, and Highway solutions.

This varied and autonomous role will see you responsible for the design, assessment, and quality of the company's structural projects while collaborating with internal and external teams. You'll work closely with architects and contractors, leading project delivery, promoting innovation, and maintaining high design standards.

Opportunities to take charge of technical delivery and quality control are available. You will join the team on a Monday to Friday basis with the opportunity to work from home after probation. This role would suit someone looking to progress their career within a close-knit working environment for a growing company that prioritises development, progression, and flexibility for their staff.

The Role:

1. Preparing detailed structural drawings and general arrangements using AutoCAD and related design tools.
2. Reinforced Concrete (RC) detailing (preferable).
3. Use of Building Information Modelling (BIM) workflows / Revit.
4. Working closely with engineers and project managers to ensure seamless integration of technical solutions.
5. Demonstrating self-motivation and an organised approach to working independently or within a team.
6. Producing 3D structural detailing drawings if applicable.

Monday to Friday (9 AM - 5 PM) - Ready to start ASAP.

1. BIM/Revit technician or similar.
2. Looking for progression into senior positions.
3. Based local to Cardiff.
