Job summary

Protec Fire Solutions ANZ is seeking a BIM Manager to lead strategic and operational BIM delivery across Fire & Security projects in the UK. You will drive compliance with ISO 19650, manage information across design, construction, handover, and operations, and lead CDE processes and BIM governance.

Ideal candidates will have ISO 19650 certification and strong experience in BEPs, IDPs, BIM standards, and information management within Fire & Security contexts.

Qualifications

• Essential: ISO 19650 Practitioner or Lead Practitioner certification and related BIM/engineering qualification.
• Experience delivering BEP/IDP and project BIM standards; strong ISO 19650 knowledge.
• Desirable: experience in Fire & Security projects and ISO 19650-5 security-minded BIM practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead BIM delivery across projects, ensuring designs are coordinated and compliant with requirements.
• Develop, implement, and manage BEPs and project information management strategies.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 19650 suite and UK BIM Framework across projects.
• Develop and maintain CDE processes for secure, accurate information management.
• Coordinate federated models, perform clash detection, and coordinate with disciplines.
• Deliver BIM governance, templates, and object libraries; support AIMs/AIRs.
