Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in BIM Management, BIM Coordination, Digital Construction, or a related role.
• Experience on live site data centre, pharmaceutical, or mission-critical projects is preferred.
• Proven ability to manage BEPs, model coordination, clash detection and information exchange.
• Strong BIM standards knowledge and digital delivery processes.
• Ability to lead BIM meetings with contractors, consultants and client representatives.
• English fluency is essential.

Job Summary:

WiiGroup is seeking to hire a BIM Manager to join our growing team in Newcastle upon Tyne, supporting the delivery of a major mission-critical project.

The BIM Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating all Building Information Modelling (BIM) activities throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with project leadership, design consultants, subcontractors, and client representatives, the successful candidate will ensure BIM standards, processes, and digital delivery requirements are implemented and maintained effectively to support the successful delivery of complex construction works.

This role is ideal for an experienced BIM professional with strong site-based pharmaceutical or data centre experience, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a passion for driving digital construction excellence within fast-paced project environments.

Our Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years' experience in BIM Management, BIM Coordination, Digital Construction, or a related role within the construction industry.




• Pharmaceutical or data centre experience.




• Strong experience using Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM 360, and other BIM-related software platforms.




• Proven experience working on large-scale construction projects such as data centres, commercial developments, industrial facilities, infrastructure projects, or mission-critical environments.




• Strong understanding of BIM standards, information management processes, and digital construction methodologies.




• Experience managing BIM execution plans (BEPs), model coordination, clash detection, and information exchange processes.




• Ability to work collaboratively with project delivery teams, consultants, subcontractors, and client representatives.




• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve coordination and design issues.




• Experience producing BIM reports, model audits, clash reports, and digital project deliverables.




• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.




• Experience within live site environments and multidisciplinary construction teams is highly desirable.




• Degree or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, BIM, Digital Construction, or a related discipline.




• Professional accreditation or BIM-related certifications are advantageous.




• Fluency in English is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage BIM activities across the project lifecycle in accordance with project and client requirements.




• Develop, implement, and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), BIM standards, and digital delivery procedures.




• Coordinate multidisciplinary design and construction models to ensure alignment across all project stakeholders.




• Manage clash detection processes using Navisworks and drive the resolution of coordination issues.




• Oversee model quality assurance processes, ensuring compliance with project standards and information requirements.




• Facilitate BIM coordination meetings with contractors, consultants, and client representatives.




• Manage Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms including Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and BIM 360.




• Support project teams through the delivery of construction sequencing, logistics planning, and digital construction workflows.




• Monitor BIM deliverables and ensure models and information are issued in line with project milestones.




• Produce BIM reports, model audits, clash reports, and progress updates for project leadership and clients.




• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams on BIM processes, standards, and best practices.




• Assist project management teams in achieving project objectives through effective digital design and construction coordination.
