Rolls-Royce SMR is seeking a BIM Manager to lead their Information Management team in delivering high-quality projects. This hybrid role will focus on aligning BIM strategies with delivery goals while managing multidisciplinary teams and ensuring effective data integration.
Ideal candidates will possess a relevant degree and extensive experience in BIM management, with a strong grasp of ISO 19650 principles. The position offers flexible working, a competitive salary, and a range of benefits including a performance-related bonus and generous holidays.
Locations: Hybrid working with one of the following closest locations as primary: Derby, Warrington or Manchester
Our mission is to deliver clean, affordable energy for all. Our Small Modular Reactor (SMR) provides a British solution to a global energy crisis. We are in pole position to become a world leader in SMRs and the UK’s premier green export technology.
The Engineering function is central to delivering our SMR programme, bringing together design, construction and digital expertise to solve complex, safety‑critical challenges. Within this, our Information Management capability is transforming how data, BIM and delivery integrate—ensuring that information is trusted, accessible and drives right‑first‑time outcomes across the lifecycle.
In this context, we are looking for a BIM Manager – Projects, reporting to a Senior Information Manager. Leading a growing team of BIM and Information specialists, this role will define and embed best‑in‑class information management across live projects—ensuring that design, construction and supply chain data is coordinated, assured and optimised to enable predictable, high‑quality delivery.
You’ll also act as a key interface across clients, partners and internal teams – ensuring information is treated as a critical delivery asset rather than a standalone digital output.
This is a pivotal role within a complex, highly regulated programme. You’ll bring a delivery‑first mindset, natural credibility with senior stakeholders, and the ability to embed new approaches that improve how information enables engineering and construction outcomes.
We offer flexible and hybrid working, with the expectation to attend an RR‑SMR site as required to support collaboration, stakeholder engagement and project delivery.
We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all backgrounds. Inclusivity is central to how we operate, and as a Disability Confident organisation, we are committed to fair, supportive and continually improving recruitment practices.
