Job description

Evolution Security is searching for a passionate and experienced BIM Lead to oversee the BIM processes across various projects. In this crucial role, you will lead the development and implementation of Building Information Modelling (BIM) strategies, guiding teams in the successful execution of complex projects. Your strong background in BIM will enable you to enhance collaboration, improve project efficiency, and ensure that our projects meet the highest quality standards.

You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and key stakeholders to drive BIM adoption, establish workflows, and ensure successful integration of BIM technology into our processes.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed electronic security system models using Revit (with a focus on MEP) and AutoCAD.
• Develop and maintain drawings and models throughout the tender, construction, and installation stages of the project lifecycle.
• Analyse mark-ups and design alterations to refresh drawings as needed.
• Convert sketches and engineering ideas into high-quality drawings.
• Ensure adherence to QA/QC standards, BIM execution plans, and documentation protocols.
• Collaborate and work closely with diverse teams, including architects, engineers, project managers and sales to ensure accurate design implementation.
• Provide technical support to other team members.
• Take charge of specific project design elements, guaranteeing timely progress toward project milestones.
• Verify that all deliverables comply with both internal and client design requirements.

• Minimum 2-3 years experience working in a similar role within the Security industry, ideally in Data Centre construction.
• Working knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, DiRoots and Excel.
• Strong understanding of relevant codes, standards, and best practices in BIM.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various teams.
• Experience in developing and implementing BIM workflows and strategies.
• A degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field is essential.
