Job summary

Futura Design Ltd is recruiting a Layout System Integration BIM Engineer for an OEM client in Whitley, Coventry. The contract is Inside IR35, with an end date proposed for 31 August 2027.

The role focuses on BIM-led design integration, layout coordination, and digital engineering delivery from concept through to project delivery. You will support 4D simulations, reality capture, and interoperability across project teams.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable working knowledge of Autodesk BIM and layout design toolset.
• Experience coordinating technical activities across multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience delivering KPI targets for projects.
• Experience in production sites or manufacturing environments.
• Understanding BIM standards, CDE principles and digital workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead BIM-enabled facility integration from concept to JOB1 + 90 days.
• Support CDE implementation and digital asset management on projects.
• Coordinate layout/system integration across GME programmes.
• Deliver BIM outputs on time, with quality and cost targets in view.
• Develop 4D simulations and support installation planning and sequencing.
