Job summary

Futura Design Limited, based near Coventry, is seeking a Layout System Integration BIM Engineer for an Inside IR35 contract. The role focuses on design integration, layout integration, and BIM methodology rollout from concept through delivery (JOB1 + 90 days).

The umbrella rate is £28.43 per hour, with an end-date targeted for August 31, 2027. Responsibilities include federated model coordination, CDE/digital asset management, and BIM workflow alignment across GME programmes.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable working knowledge and experience of Autodesk BIM and Layout design toolset.
• Demonstrable previous experience and background in layout development.
• Demonstrable previous experience of Digital engineering workflows and tools.

Responsibilities

• Support BIM-enabled facility integration activities from concept through to project completion (JOB1 + 90).
• Assist in applying BIM standards within facilities design and delivery activities.
• Support L1-L5 Layout System Integration reviews and buy-off activities.
• Develop and maintain 4D simulation models and digital rehearsals for installation planning and logistics reviews.
• Undertake reality capture and Scan-to-BIM activities including LiDAR and point cloud processing.
