BIM Specialist | Standards & Compliance | Mission Critical | London, Hybrid

Our client is a global construction and engineering firm that delivers high-performance infrastructure projects across Europe and APAC.

As part of their ongoing expansion, they now need a Global BIM Specialist - Standards and Compliance to oversee BIM governance, automation, and process optimisation across their portfolio of mission-critical builds, including data centres, in major locations worldwide.

The Role:

This pivotal position within the international engineering team focuses on evolving BIM standards, tools, and delivery practices.

You will collaborate across regions with project teams, vendors, and internal specialists to ensure consistent, high-quality BIM execution throughout the project lifecycle—from feasibility to operation.

You will champion BIM excellence, maintaining consistency and quality across the firm’s expanding data centre portfolio worldwide.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead global BIM audits and standardization across multi-site data centre projects
• Support project teams in adopting ACC (or equivalent) systems and best practices
• Manage OFCI BIM workflows and coordinate vendors
• Contribute to generative design solutions and performance dashboards
• Influence R&D, document control strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Mentor and advise regional BIM managers and document controllers

Experience and Qualifications Required:

• Degree in Construction and/or Engineering discipline
• 6+ years of BIM leadership experience in mission-critical, healthcare, or industrial projects; data centre experience is a plus
• Proven success with Revit, Navisworks, and ACC
• Deep understanding of ISO 19650 and quality documentation standards
• Experience with Scan-to-BIM and data reporting tools like Power BI
• Experience across all construction and design stages: Feasibility, Operational, Completion
• Collaborative, proactive mindset capable of engaging at project and portfolio levels
• Strong communication skills; multilingual abilities are a plus
