Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking a skilled BIM Engineer for a contract role in Coventry with hybrid potential. The position covers design and layout system integration from concept to completion, delivering BIM-enabled facility integration and digital engineering solutions.

12 months maternity cover, Inside IR35, rate £28.50/hr. The ideal candidate will lead federated model reviews, implement CDE and digital twin processes, and apply BIM methodologies across projects while ensuring compliance with standards

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience with BIM, CAD and digital engineering toolsets for facility/manufacturing design.
• Proven track record in 3D model coordination and federated reviews.
• Strong understanding of BIM methodologies, CDE and digital workflows.
• Experience in production process flow analysis and problem solving.
• Effective communication with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate federated model reviews, design integration and clash detection.
• Support CDE deployment, digital asset management and digital twin info management.
• Apply BIM methodologies across projects and ensure compliance with standards.
• Develop and maintain 4D simulation models for installation planning.
• Conduct reality capture (LiDAR) and Scan-to-BIM activities.
• Participate in cross-functional design reviews for integration readiness.
• Deliver outputs in line with programme timing and gateways.
• Support adoption of emerging digital engineering technologies.
• Maintain health and safety governance compliance.
