Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a GIS/Data Management professional for a UK rail project in Milton Keynes. You will ensure GIS alignment with project goals, maintain data standards in the Common Data Environment, and provide cartographic support to project teams.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Delivery, Environmental, and Land & Property teams to embed digital solutions into workflows, leveraging BIM and AR/VR where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience in ISO 19650-compliant environments and integrating GIS with BIM workflows and Common Data Environments.
• Broad experience in data management activities on a major programme within a regulated organisation with multiple interfaces.
• Integration of CAD and GIS data to produce 3D visualisation, VR and AR solutions.
• Experience with RESTful Web Service protocols and GIS data sharing interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Ensure GIS solutions align with project goals and priorities.
• Support data catalogue creation, maintenance, and standards application in the Common Data Environment.
• Provide cartographic and geospatial support to project teams.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate digital solutions into workflows.
• Utilise BIM and other advanced technologies.
