BIM Design Specialist – Electrical & Digital Delivery

Job summary

HDR is seeking a Digital Design Specialist (Electrical) to lead BIM modeling for the discipline under supervision. You will create and maintain the discipline model and digital delivery output, ensuring accuracy and adherence to the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP).

You will coordinate with architects, engineers and other disciplines to integrate design intent across the project. You will produce annotated drawings, maintain model health, and support design reviews and 3D coordination sessions.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years related industry experience
• Knowledge of Revit and document management incl. ACC/Forma
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and communication tools
• Experience with 3D coordination tools including ACC/Forma & Navisworks
• Excellent communication, detail-orientation and organizational skills
• Understanding of engineering/architectural concepts
• Experience on large or multiple projects

Responsibilities

• Model discipline in BIM, based on DDP and project scope
• Create and maintain discipline model, systems and digital delivery output
• Produce discipline documentation with annotations
• Coordinate design with other discipline models during reviews
• Maintain model health and project information
• Prepare detailed drawings and layouts using 3D software
• Assist with Digital Delivery requirements as needed
