Your new company

Our client is a large-sized Building Services engineering contractor with multiple offices across the UK and Ireland. Specialising in Mechanical & Electrical Building Design, employees work on exciting projects to deliver low energy and high-quality products. Projects range from new builds to refurbishments, varying in scale from small works to over £100 million.

Your new role

Within a multidisciplinary BIM/REVIT team, you will generate accurate and detailed records of Building Services engineering project documentation, adhering to the project BIM execution plan. Your responsibilities include producing 2D layouts/schematics using AutoCAD, creating 3D BIM models, and performing clash detection with Navisworks.

• Set up drawings and prepare them for team use
• Review project files for compliance with standards and protocols
• Implement best practice procedures
• Assist engineers in drawing production
• Produce precise 2D drawings and 3D models
• Coordinate drawing production according to project requirements and other disciplines
• Deliver BIM/CAD projects through coordination roles
• Create clash detection reports and resolve issues with the engineering team
• Develop family creation and standard details/procedures
• Meet tight deadlines and work independently or as part of a team

What you'll need to succeed

• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks; work samples will be requested at interview
• Understanding of building services coordination, BS 1992, PAS 1192, and BS8541
• Experience in a Building Services consultancy environment
• Knowledge of assurance processes, codes of practice, standards, and statutory documentation
• Eligibility for security clearance and airside pass
• Positive attitude, self-motivated, and good communication skills
