Job summary

Lorien is seeking a Digital Information (BIM) Coordinator to manage project information across infrastructure projects. The role supports information management processes within a Common Data Environment and ensures compliance with ISO 19650 standards.

Based in Aberdeen, Glasgow, Inverness or Perth, you will configure CDE modules, liaise with stakeholders, and drive data accuracy using BIM tools (AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D) and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Excellent administration and organisational skills with collaboration software and CDE experience.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and Civil 3D.
• Experience in Information Management within Common Data Environments.
• Data-driven with technical support and process improvement ability.
• Familiar with ISO 19650 and BIM information management standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support configuration of modules within a CDE to meet project needs.
• Develop and implement project information management processes and documentation.
• Upskill internal teams and external partners on systems, processes and workflows.
• Act as main point of contact for information management on assigned projects.
• Verify and validate model information and asset data with stakeholders.

The Role

An opportunity has arisen for a Digital Information (BIM) Coordinator to play a key role in the management and development of project information and business documentation across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects.
Successful candidates will support the development of information management processes and procedures, while validating project information and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support the configuration of modules within a Common Data Environment (CDE) to meet project and delivery team requirements.
• Assist in the development and implementation of project-specific information management processes and documentation, aligned with industry standards and best practices.
• Support the upskilling of internal teams and external partners to ensure understanding of systems, processes, and required workflows.
• Act as the main point of contact for information management activities on assigned projects, coordinating the sharing of sensitive and confidential information where required.
• Verify and validate model information and asset data to ensure accuracy and completeness, liaising with project stakeholders to maintain consistency across projects.

Requirements

• Excellent administration and organisational skills, with experience using collaboration software and Common Data Environments. Strong technical knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and Civil 3D.
• Strong Information Management experience, including managing Common Data Environments (ACC/BIM 360)
• Proven project delivery experience with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks, manage meeting schedules, and produce clear, concise reports.
• A data-driven approach, with experience providing technical support and identifying process improvements. Knowledge of Power BI and scripting using Python or C# would be advantageous.
• Understanding of ISO 19650, BIM frameworks, and industry best practice relating to information management.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a professional and collaborative approach to achieving successful project outcomes.
