Qualifications

• Prior experience as a BIM Coordinator or in a related role, preferably in refurbishment.

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are seeking a seasoned BIM Coordinator to join a major Tier 1 contractor, on a 6-month initial contract, outside IR35. The successful candidate will be expected to work on-site from our client's three London sites. You will have the opportunity to work on 3 large-scale, exciting commercial projects, as a valued member of a skilled team. Competitive day rate ranging from £300-£360 (depending on experience). On-site working arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee BIM design models and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams ensuring the designs meet the project requirements.
• Conduct clash detection tests to find complications and problems, and ensure that the models follow project specifications and the BIM Execution Plan.
• Make sure that models are concise and that documentation is organised efficiently in the Common Data Environment.
• Run regular quality checks to ensure that the design models comply with client and project requirements.
• Organise coordination meetings to discuss and find solutions for any design and/or model issues and challenges.
• Attend site visits to make sure the project is progressing effectively and efficiently.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a BIM Coordinator, or a related role, preferably in refurbishment.
• Strong technical background, with previous experience of using software tools such as Revit, Navisworks and Revizto.
• Experience of working with clash detection systems and COBie data systems.
• Solid grasp of current BIM standards, regulations and policies.
• Ability to manage and process BIM models accurately.
• Strong communicator with the ability to lead a team and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
