Job summary

AECOM is seeking a full-time BIM/CAD Specialist in Manchester within the Building Engineering Division. The role focuses on BMS design, CAD coordination, and supporting mechanical and electrical teams across a broad range of projects.

You’ll use AutoCAD/MicroStation, develop complex CADD outputs and help deliver integrated control systems for office, industrial and public sector clients. A hybrid working model is available.

Qualifications

• Minimum HNC level in engineering or a degree in building services, electrical engineering or computer science.
• Gained BMS knowledge (Trend, Tridium, Niagara) through industry work experience.
• Chartered status or working towards it.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex CADD assignments and coordinates drawing production in support of the CADD manager.
• Digitize or trace sketches from designers using CADD software such as AutoCAD or MicroStation.
• Perform advanced applications, scale and edit tasks involving CAD software to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with mechanical and electrical teams on BIM/Control systems design.
