Billing Specialist

We are looking for two Billing Specialists to join our team in Leicester. The Billing Specialists are responsible for invoice deviation management. This role involves working as part of the wider Billing Team, dealing with all aspects of Construction and Service Billing to maximize billing potential while reducing risk.

On a typical day, you will:

  1. Monitor automated billing activities
  2. Raise non-standard invoices
  3. Ensure non-standard billing rates are captured correctly
  4. Process invoice corrections in case of customer complaints
  5. Work closely with other C2C colleagues to ensure a low level of disputes
  6. Maintain close relationships with branches to ensure timely and correct invoices
  7. Focus on the quality of created invoices
  8. Follow specific, complex local requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  1. A strong administrative background, including excellent knowledge of MS Word and Excel
  2. Customer Service Experience
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  4. The ability to develop strong working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Finance background or similar experience handling invoices
  2. Experience working with larger ERP systems
