Qualifications

  • Experience in customer invoicing and financial processes.
  • Ability to manage bank receipt allocations and credit notes.
  • Familiarity with client invoicing systems.

Job Type - Permanent – Full Time
Working Hours - Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm
Salary - Up to £26,000 per year dependent on experience
Start Date – ASAP

We are currently recruiting for a Billing Coordinator to join a well-established growing business based in Stoke on Trent. You will be directly employed working within the Finance department and reporting to the Credit Control Manager.

Full Job Description

• Delivery of customer invoicing together with appropriate supporting information on an accurate and timely basis to our UK and International clients through various client systems and processes
• Identify and report missing customer POs to the business on a regular basis
• Take initiative to resolve any circumstances that are holding up the invoicing process and liaise/ co-ordinate with other departments to achieve a positive resolution for the business
• You will have responsibility for bank receipt allocations/credit notes & sale ledger reconciliation
• Ensure that work not yet invoiced is kept to a minimum in order to optimise cash flow
• Meet deadlines as set and agreed with the Team Manager.

Preferred Requirements

Sales Ledger experience including bank receipt allocations
Ability to enter invoice data onto client systems
Good level of IT skills
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Ability to investigate and resolve issues
Ability to reconcile accounts and invoices
Ability to work well under pressure
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Ability to work to high levels of accuracy
