Job description

  • Manage an account portfolio of approximately 140+ monthly invoices.
  • Act as an escalation point for stakeholders when the manager is unavailable.
  • Assist the team and work toward DSO reduction targets.
  • Work toward and then maintain open/unsent prior period invoices at near zero (disputed invoices not included).
  • Reduce delinquency (measured by 91+ aging) by 10% month over month.
  • Cross-train and have a strong understanding of the complimentary business processes.
  • Identify and develop process improvement concepts.
  • Be proficient in all billing systems used by clients and assist with cross-training of Analysts.
  • Act as a mentor for junior team members.
  • Prepare weekly reports on your billing pod.
  • Resolve client disputes within 45 days.
  • Deliver invoices via email and through various client-assigned e-billing platforms.
  • Work closely with internal time approvers to generate monthly client invoices and monitor delays effectively.
  • Ensure adequate follow-up to guarantee timely payments from clients.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of billing/e-billing experience; law firm experience is a big plus.

  • Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimal direction, adapting to changing priorities.
  • Experience supporting client-facing teams and resolving issues.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, growing company.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to communicate at multiple organizational levels.
  • Experience in team coordination.

Axiom’s total rewards include a transparent and equitable approach. The annual base salary in Belfast ranges from £31,500 to £34,250. You will be eligible for a cash bonus plan targeting 15% of your base salary, subject to experience, contribution, potential, and market considerations.
