Overview

The Billing Support will ensure efficient and accurate billing processes for all customers. Focusing on accuracy, customer service, and data security. Key responsibilities include managing monthly billing, credit control, customer support, and maintaining up-to-date billing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly billing for all customers.
  • Set up and close nursery accounts for new joiners and leavers.
  • Maintain and validate customer billing systems (Connect & Funding Loop).
  • Manage allocation of government grants (15/30 hours), ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Handle daily billing queries from parents, nurseries, and internal teams.
  • Support nursery managers with complex billing issues and process improvements.
  • Lead credit control activities, including debt collection and payment plans.
  • Manage invoice queries, payments, refunds, and reconciliations.
  • Oversee applications for new joiners and support smooth account setups.

Uphold GDPR compliance and ensure sensitive customer data is handled securely.

What You Will Have
  • Proven experience in billing, credit control, or customer support, preferably in a childcare, education, or service-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in billing and customer management software (experience with Connect is a plus).

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on customer service and team collaboration.

Preferred Skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex billing processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of GDPR regulations and data security best practices.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
