Job description

  • GBP25,000 - GBP35,000 depending on experience (pro rata)
  • 6 month fixed term contract
  • Modern Leatherhead offices with hybrid available
  • Monday Friday, 37.5 hours a week
  • Onsite gym, free parking, excellent benefits

Your job will be varied one and will involve;

  • Raising client bills for a selection of partners/managers
  • Raising the bill in Word
  • Creating the draft email to send to client
  • Sending the client bills via to the relevant partner/manager for approval
  • Liaising with stakeholders to maintain the client services and jobs within the Practice Management system to ensure that only relevant options are available
  • General maintenance of data held on the PE system
  • Running various reports for internal departments
  • Assisting in the month end reconciliations
  • In time, meeting with partners on aged WIP to determine whether it is fully recoverable
  • Liaising with credit control to process credit notes, invoices and write offs

Person Specification:

  • Experience of billing in a professional services environment
  • Awareness of deadlines and ability to prioritise and be flexible if priorities change
  • IT literate, be able to use Excel/Word
  • Organised due to the volume of work that flows through the department
  • Ability to work using your own initiative or as part of a team
  • Be proactive and ask questions where necessary
  • Demonstrate professionalism towards stakeholders
