Qualifications

Accounts Assistant:

We are looking for someone to assist in all areas of accounts, supporting the Finance Manager with all other areas of accounting. The role is varied and will expose the successful candidate to all areas of accounts and company information; therefore, experience handling confidential information is paramount. The position will initially focus on Mimeo GmbH, our sister company based in Berlin.

Founded in 1998 as a technology company that prints, success started with the deployment of a cloud-based model we call PaaS ("Printing As a Service"), which places direct access and control of the Mimeo.com solution into the hands of customers and partners. With an Internet-based connection to an ever-expanding set of capabilities, efficiencies are gained which make it unnecessary for customers to invest in digital print infrastructure and staff.


Nature and Responsibilities:

Reports to the finance manager and will be responsible for the following:

  1. Sales Ledger, processing customer invoices, customer queries, and allocating receipts
  2. Reconciling AR Debtor Listing
  3. Credit Control
  4. Maintain Cash Flow Forecast
  5. Period end journals
  6. VAT Returns
  7. Any other ad hoc duties

Required Skills and Experience:

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in an accounts role
• Experience of AX Dynamics or similar programmes
• Advanced Excel and other Microsoft packages
• Bilingual (German, English)


Hours of work: 37.5 Per week
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
