Job summary

Kingdom Services Group in Trafford Park, Manchester is seeking an experienced Bike Mechanic to service, repair and safety-check bicycles across a range of models.

You will inspect, diagnose faults, adjust components and maintain a clean workshop. The role requires City & Guilds Level 2 in Bike Mechanics or Cytech, hands-on experience, and reliable timekeeping. Hours: Mon-Fri 8:00–16:00, optional Fri 7:00–15:00, £13.45 per hour.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate must have formal bike mechanic qualifications: City & Guilds Level 2 in Bike Mechanics or Cytech.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting, servicing and repairing bicycles to a high standard
• Diagnosing mechanical faults and carrying out necessary repairs
• Adjusting and replacing components including brakes, gears, chains, wheels and tyres
• Carrying out safety and quality checks on completed bikes
• Preparing bicycles for reuse and ensuring they are safe and roadworthy
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop environment
• Working efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship
• Following health and safety procedures at all times

Bike Mechanic

Location: Trafford Park, Manchester
Pay: £13.45 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm
Optional Friday shift: 7:00am-3:00pm

We are currently looking for an experienced and qualified Bike Mechanic to join our team based in Trafford Park.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled bike mechanic who is confident carrying out repairs, maintenance and safety checks on a range of bicycles.

The Role

As a Bike Mechanic, your responsibilities will include:

• Inspecting, servicing and repairing bicycles to a high standard

About You

The successful candidate must hold one of the following qualifications:

You should also have:

• Previous experience working as a bike mechanic
• Good knowledge of bicycle components, repairs and maintenance
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A practical, hands‑on approach to problem solving
• Good reliability and timekeeping

• Monday to Friday: 8:00am-4:00pm
• Optional Friday working pattern: 7:00am-3:00pm
• £13.45 per hour
