A local government authority is looking for a motivated individual to join their Ranger Team at Moors Valley Country Park. Key responsibilities include assisting in the running of activities for children and families, ensuring the safety and cleanliness of equipment, and handling cash transactions. This casual position requires flexibility for shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
We are looking to employ a highly motivated, enthusiastic and adaptable individual to work within our Ranger Team at Moors Valley Country Park, working as part of the provision of our Cycle Hire & Adventure Valley facilities.
The post holder will assist in running activities for children and families within a busy Country Park. Duties include supporting the Activities Rangers in the running of our Cycle Hire and Adventure Valley activities; ‘Mini Landrover driving experience’ and Nature Golf. Daily tasks include serving visitors, answering questions, giving information and safety briefing to children and parents, handling money, processing sales, setting up and packing away activities and supporting the wider ranger team with any issues that arise.
Some key responsibilities of the role include; Carry out day to day operations at the Cycle Hire & Adventure Valley facilities, including setting up & closing daily activities.
