Big Green Heart is seeking a trainer to expand our practitioner base. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with teaching experience to apply their skills in the charity sector, focusing on mental health. Accredited practitioners can charge for their services, working with individuals or partnering with schools, churches, and community projects. They will operate under license from Big Green Heart.
The trainer's primary responsibility is to teach and train practitioners in the Big Green Heart methodology and guide them toward accreditation, both regionally and online.
Additionally, the trainer will oversee the development of practitioners' work in a mentoring capacity, either individually or in groups, in person or online. This evolving role will be developed collaboratively with the Founder/CEO.
Key information
Hours: Approximately 16 hours per week with flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends.

Location: Remote and flexible. Some face-to-face meetings at our North Yorkshire office will be necessary. Training sessions are conducted nationwide, with travel expenses covered.
About you
The trainer will develop a practitioner network for recruitment over time. Prior knowledge of Big Green Heart methodology is not required, as training will be provided. There will be a probationary period to assess suitability for delivering the practice of forgiving.
Additional Skills
The trainer will report to the Founder/CEO and work with the operational team.
While the practice is accessible to all faiths or none, an occupational requirement states the jobholder must be a Christian, as per Part 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.
