A global communications agency in London is seeking a Biddable Lead to oversee performance media activation for a diverse client portfolio. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in performance marketing, particularly in search, and will excel in team leadership, communication, and strategic planning. The Biddable Lead role will take overall responsibility for performance media activation and strategy across a portfolio of consumer-focused clients, with a predominant focus on Enterprise Mobility and Ancestry. You will take overall responsibility for strategic direction, and activation excellence.
This varied role would suit an experienced performance practitioner, with a deep background in search, who is ready to take the next step in their career by taking a more rounded leadership position. This role requires an experienced leader with deep, hands-on experience of leading Performance Marketing programs. Experience in team leadership would be critical, as you would be overseeing a hybrid team based across multiple locations.
As a key leader in the department, you would also have key responsibility for driving forward departmental priorities and initiatives, including ownership of new business pitches, developing new skillsets and driving digital transformation, defining the role of AI within performance marketing, delivering cost efficiencies through offshoring and more.
· Drive short- and long-term revenue growth for our clients through a combination of strategic leadership and ensuring activation excellence in delivery
· Flawless client servicing, measured by third party surveys and direct feedback
· Ensure we have clear roadmaps in place for clients to deliver best in class digital activation, with a predominant focus on search and AI-led solutions
· Lead on performance/digital specific pitches, and play a key leadership role in multi-disciplinary pitches as required
· Develop our paid digital capability in tandem with other departmental leads
· Collaborate closely with other leads across the account
The successful candidate will have significant experience in a performance marketing role, ideally as a Business Director or equivalent.
Hands-on experience across paid search in particular is a must, given weighting of budgets in this channel
This role will require experience in handling communication and workstreams across multiple client stakeholders & internal teams, so you must be an exceptional communicator and enjoy collaborating and building work relationships.
· Extensive experience in a performance media role, with proven experience in client leadership and strong digital performance knowledge across Paid Search
· Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to engage with multiple client contacts & internal team members.
· Ability to build relationships with 3rd parties and working collaboratively with all stakeholders.
· A critical thinker in your day-to-day and able to operate independently to solve challenges and navigate novel situations. Be solution driven, innovative and proactive with how you manage planning & operational processes.
· Be strategic and commercially minded in planning goals for your teams, as well as being able to shape and develop paid media strategy with client’s business goals in mind.
