BAM UK & Ireland is recruiting a Bid Writer – Private Sector to join our FM segment and support growth across the private sector. The role can be based at any UK office location with hybrid working and UK-wide travel.

You will translate technical information into persuasive, customer-focused bid content, collaborating with Business Development, Operations, Commercial and Bid Management teams to deliver high-quality proposals and client submissions.

Qualifications

• Proven bid writing experience within Facilities Management or a related outsourced services environment.
• Experience producing private sector tender submissions.
• Strong understanding of Hard and Soft FM services.
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, persuasive responses.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively and meet challenging deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

• Support sustainability, innovation, mobilisation and social value responses.
• Review and edit submissions to ensure quality, consistency and compliance with client requirements.
• Manage multiple writing deadlines and support bid planning activities.
• Maintain and improve the bid content library.

BAM UK & Ireland is recruiting a Bid Writer – Private Sector to join our FM segment of the business and be supporting our continued growth across the private sector. You will produce compelling, high-quality proposals and tender submissions that demonstrate BAM FM's integrated Facilities Management capabilities. This role can be based out of any of our UK office locations and will be hybrid working. You would be required to travel UK wide as and when required.

• Proven bid writing experience within Facilities Management or a related outsourced services environment.

Desirable Experience

• APMP qualification or equivalent.
• Experience supporting integrated, multi-service FM tenders.

• Knowledge of commercial property, corporate and industrial markets.
