The Company:
An exciting new opportunity for a Bid Writer to join a Tier 1 Main Contractor within the Warwickshire region.

My client works within the Civil Engineering Sector working on schemes such as: Water, Highways, Rail and Aviation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Bid Writer to join an amazing company and really apply their trade and skills to a well-established Main Contractor.

The Role:
The Bid Writer will be responsible for supporting and developing high scoring proposals. This will include a combination of analytical research, answer planning, bid writing, editing, reviewing and proof reading.

The Bid Writer will work as part of a wider bid team, working closely with bid managers, estimators, planners, operational support, and other members of the proposals team to:
•Develop persuasive and engaging responses that exceed Client expectations and incorporate tangible benefits, commitments and relevant evidence
• Ensure the winning strategy is embedded in the proposal, addressing client ‘hot buttons’ and incorporating clear win themes throughout.
• Ensure Client questions and marking criteria are fully understood and addressed with relevant information.
• Engage and provide constructive challenge during answer planning and the review process.
• Demonstrate a proactive, flexible and agile approach, with the ability to work in high-pressure environments, managing multiple proposals and / or commitments simultaneously to meet deadlines.

What we want from you:
• Previous experience as a Bid Writer within the Civil Engineering industry.
• Good technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes.
• Degree level education or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Full UK driving license.
• Live within or commutable to Warwickshire

On Offer for You:
• £60,000 - £70,000 +(DOE)
• £6,000 Car Allowance / Company Car
