Job description

Experienced Bid Writer opportunity for permanent role within a medium sized civil engineering contractor.

Candidates will have the flexibility to work from home 2/3 days per week.

The role:

Working alongside the Contracts Director you will:

  • Prepare and manage formal bid documentation
  • Communicate with potential clients on tenders and PQQs
  • Coordinate tender correspondence and feedback
  • Make sure information is up to date by maintaining relevant databases
  • Maintain effective filing system to stay on top of all documentation
  • Update and maintain sub-contractor list
  • Work to tight deadlines and short time scales
  • Maintain quality assurance certifications

You will be:

  • A good team player who is comfortable working on their own
  • Organised and able to prioritise workload
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Experienced using MS Office

Ideal candidate will have previous Bid Writing experience in a similar role.
