Job description

A leading Telecare provider is seeking 1 x Full-time and 1 x Part-time Bid Writer to join its team on a remote working basis. In this role, you will be required to craft compelling, high-quality bids that secure new opportunities for proactive and preventative services. You will play a key role in developing winning proposals that align with NHS, social care, and partnership commissioning frameworks.


Bid Writer Key Responsibilities
  1. Bid Development: Lead and coordinate the end-to-end bid process, ensuring timely, high-quality submissions.
  2. Content Creation: Write, edit, and proofread bid responses, tailoring messaging to highlight the company's strengths.
  3. Strategic Planning: Work with internal teams to develop winning bid strategies aligned with company objectives.
  4. Bid Library Management: Maintain a repository of bid responses, case studies, and supporting documents.
  5. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all bid submissions meet regulatory and contractual requirements.
  6. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with teams across sales, operations, and technical functions to gather key information.
  7. Market & Industry Awareness: Stay up to date with Telecare trends, procurement regulations, and competitor activity.
Bid Writer Key Skills & Experience Required
  1. At least five years in bid writing, tender management, or proposal development.
  2. Strong understanding of NHS, social care, and partnership development.
  3. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive narratives.
  4. Proven ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Bid Writer Desirable Skills
  1. Knowledge of Telecare, healthcare, or public sector procurement.
  2. Experience with TSA and ISO audit requirements.
  3. Familiarity with bid tracking and document management tools.
