Are you a confident proposal or bid writer with a track record of delivering high-quality, winning submissions? Do you enjoy turning technical input into compelling content? If so, this could be your next step.

We are looking for an experienced and driven Proposal Writer to join a high-performing bid team focused on delivering winning proposals across environmental, waste, energy, and water sectors.

What you’ll be doing:

Writing persuasive, tailored content that clearly communicates the company’s value proposition to clients

Leading the creation of project summaries, executive overviews, methodologies, and case studies

Working closely with operational teams, subject matter experts, and business development teams to gather input and shape proposal strategies

Ensuring all written content is clear, concise, and aligned with the client’s tender requirements and brand tone

Maintaining and improving bid library content, supporting continuous improvement in bid quality

Participating in client feedback sessions and using insights to improve future responses

What we’re looking for:

Strong background in bid/proposal writing within utilities, construction, environmental services, or facilities management

Proven experience writing high-value bids (typically over £150k)

Ability to manage multiple proposals and tight deadlines with confidence

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

High attention to detail with strong proofreading and editing ability

Familiar with G Suite or other proposal automation tools

Degree-level qualification and ideally APMP certified (or equivalent)
