Job description

The Company

IntaForensics is a leading provider of digital forensics, cyber security, and digital investigation services to the Criminal Justice System and private sector. Working closely with our trusted partners including Forensic Access, Analytical Services International, and Forensic Testing Services (FTS), we deliver comprehensive forensic solutions across multiple disciplines.

We are seeking a motivated and capable Bid Writer to join our Commercial team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a bid professional with at least 2–3 years of experience who is looking to further develop their career in a fast-paced, specialist sector. You will contribute to high-quality submissions that support our growth ambitions across a diverse and fascinating range of services.

The role may involve working across all our businesses and disciplines including Traditional & Digital Forensics, Cyber, Digital Investigations, Toxicology and Family Law services.

Experience or understanding of IT security or cyber security—particularly in relation to digital forensics or managed services—is desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end bid process, coordinating input from commercial, technical and delivery teams to ensure all proposals are accurate, well-written, compliant, and submitted on time.
  • Monitor and manage the tenders inbox, logging new opportunities and coordinating the internal bid/no-bid decision process.
  • Produce persuasive, well-structured and client-focused written content.
  • Contribute to the development of compelling win strategies, value propositions, and executive summaries tailored to each opportunity.
  • Maintain and continuously improve the central bid library, including case studies, CVs, company credentials, and high-quality reusable content.
  • Track and manage risks associated with the bid process.
  • Conduct competitor and market research to inform strategic positioning and win themes.
  • Assist in the coordination of client presentations or clarification sessions, where required.
  • Support post-submission reviews and feedback processes to drive continuous improvement.
  • Work under the guidance of the Bid Manager to ensure all submissions align with the overarching commercial strategy.

Person specification:

  • Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in bid writing, preferably in Digital Forensics/Cyber Security/IT Services.
  • Proven ability to deliver compliant and compelling bids in line with tender specifications.
  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills with excellent grammar and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrable track record of contributing to successful bids, including meeting submission deadlines and helping improve win rates.
  • Exceptional multitasking and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach — able to support business priorities beyond standard 9–5 hours when necessary.
  • Self-motivated, hard-working and driven, with a genuine interest in developing their career and progressing within the company.
  • Experience working on complex, multi-disciplinary opportunities.
  • Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts and translate technical content into clear, persuasive narratives.
  • Confident using IT systems and submission portals; strong data presentation and formatting skills.
  • Familiarity with public sector procurement processes and frameworks is advantageous.

Training and Self Development

Ongoing support and professional development opportunities will be provided to help the successful candidate progress and grow within the role.

Company Benefits:

  • Company pension
  • Healthcare benefits
  • Life insurance
  • On-site parking
