Our client is seeking an experienced Bid Writer to join their team, working remotely on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work within a structured team to actively seek out and secure business opportunities.
- Respond to OJEU notices, invitations to tender, and develop bids through high-quality EOIs, SQs, ITT submissions, and bid documents tailored to client requirements.
- Enhance the company's profile and reputation to attract new business opportunities.
- Assist in producing marketing documentation to showcase the business's capabilities.
- Stay informed about market opportunities and strategies relevant to bid and tender submissions.
- Initiate new strategies within bid and tender processes, especially in private, social housing, healthcare, and education sectors.
- Recognize client needs and use insights to prepare successful bids and tenders.
- Develop innovative and commercial solutions creatively.
- Prepare attractive, concise documents that effectively communicate and win bids.
- Make presentations to key clients and build strong relationships, demonstrating credibility and technical support.
- Liaise with all departments to develop successful bid and tender documents.
- Ensure publication processes and systems are compatible with bid submission requirements, maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
- Attend training courses for skills enhancement as identified through appraisals.
- Review and audit submission documents, maintaining a library of technical and commercial information.
- Arrange feedback meetings with clients and disseminate information within the team.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to promote the company's activities and seek new business.
- Strive for continuous improvement in company performance and client relations.
Requirements:
- Experience with main contractors in the construction industry.
- Proven success in winning bids/tenders within construction.
- Experience managing multiple bids simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Comfortable working under tight deadlines.
Rewards and Benefits:
The salary depends on industry exposure, ranging between £50,000 and £60,000. The role is remote.
